Back to the roots (Sahara-Morocco)

How it feels to breathe in the sacred silence and every cell of your body relaxes in the process.

How it feels to be on your own, far away from any distractions, trusting yourself.

How it feels to travel together, facing the challenges of the desert, sitting around the fire as in ancient times, living on the ground, and experiencing community and helpfulness.

You need your own tent and sleeping bag, and you're ready to go.

Here in the desert under the starry sky, you are simply closer to the cosmos. The twinkling of the stars and the falling shooting stars. When the beauty of the universe flows into you and you lie in the lap of Mother Earth, of Mama Africa, it becomes wide and soft and peaceful within you. At peace with what life has in store for you.

We will spend 5 nights and 6 days in the middle of the desert, riding our camels to special places and refreshing ourselves in a beautiful desert camp without noise and commotion, far away from tourism.

Living in the desert is such a great gift for me, one that I would like to share with you. Living in the Berber tradition, the simple life makes life easier.

We would like to spend a few days with you living a completely different life, feeling connected to the earth and the sky and growing within ourselves. Growing into our luminous greatness to leave traces of light behind.

This retreat is suitable for you if you enjoy being in nature, if you want to breathe in silence and tranquility, if you are healthy with no physical or mental limitations.

About us:

I am a guardian of the Earth. I can feel Mother Earth's heartbeat, her immeasurable love, her primal power, and her birth into love. We humans can help her by remembering that love is the highest frequency. Every loving, self-loving heart is a shining pearl in the grid that spans the Earth.

The desert changed my life. It called to me, and I answered that call. It wasn't just the beauty and clarity of the desert that changed me, but especially the simple life of the Berbers.

MBarak comes from the nomadic Berber people. His grandfather planted his walking stick in the ground here on our site and settled down. He exchanged long journeys through the desert for a roof over his head, a warm place by the fire, and a livelihood provided by Mother Earth. We want to pass this feeling of home on to you. Finding home in your own heart and the silence and vastness of the desert, the simplicity support you in this.

MBarak is a musician. Gnaua music has its roots in sub-Saharan Africa and has been used for centuries to induce a trance state for self-healing. In this ceremony (Leila), the instruments attune themselves to the dancing bodies.

The desert spreads its arms and you can let yourself fall deeply, relax, and rediscover your primal trust. The heaviness will fall away from you, lightness will move in. I cordially invite you to my spiritual home. You are welcome, very welcome.

Are you ready? Can you hear the call of the desert?
